Wall Hangings
Unique one-of-a-kind wall art pieces are inspired by the repurposed materials chosen. Colors and textures guide the design as much as my own intuition brings each piece to life. My handmade weavings are intentionally made with reclaimed bits and pieces of yarn and discarded fibers; items forgotten, tossed aside, or worn-to-threadbare. Each creation is an exploration in the surface-story which emerges through latent memories held within the materials. Often an emotional or vibrational connection is felt by the viewer.
